UVB fixture NOT BULB

I just got a new fixture for my baby tortoises. It's a zilla slimline fixture with a repti sun 10.0 in it. I've seen nasty threads on here about zilla and I wanted to know what's up with that? Is it the fixture or bulb everyone is dissing?

I have that same fixture, and replaced that bulb with a 10.0 Reptisun.

Hi Big Gulp.- I think (am almost positive) the Zilla t5 fixtures are regular out-put and not HO--

so the Arcadia t5 bulbs don't work in them because the fixtures ballasts are too weak to properly drive the much more powerful Arcadia bulbs.

I have ALL sizes of 6% bulbs in stock now and the HO fixture shipment is due in around 3/15

Its like high pressure sodium bulbs require a specific ballast for each bulb wattage to drive it to its potential and thanks todd for my two fixtures there doing great how often should i replace my arcadia 6.0?
