UVB burst out?

Strangely my UVB bulb literally umm..... well it went BOOM!!!! Idk why and now I am out of UVB bulb and the store is out of 5.0 ones!! How much time do I have until it starts affecting him a lot??? Will he be fine for like 1 or 2 days until it arrives? Or will it be zoo dangerous i will want to pay over night shipping for like 50$ and the 30$? Please write ASAP and thanks! P.S He is on his new cage and he is loving it! For some weird reason he won't stop climbing all over the walls!

Are you running a misting system? If water hits the bulb it will shatter. If you are not using a misting system, be careful not to spray the bulb when hand spraying. If you are using a "drip through screen" watering method, make sure the water isn't pooling under the lamp fixture. This may or may not be the issue here, but these are things to keep in mind.

BTW: What type of UVB bulb are you using?

He will be fine for even a week without the bulb while you wait for it to come in.
