ya your uva is your heat bulb...the uvb is the tube (reptisun is the best one out there...reptiglo hits 2nd place)
 
Yes. Natural sunlight provides both. A suitable artificial source should also.
UVA/UVB.......'A' for activity, 'B' for bones. :)
 
I beleive so yes, but refer to your tubes packaging to be sure.
Artificial UV is always supplimentary though, natural unfiltered sunlight is best

As others have said... UVA comes from the basking lamp. It is best to use a clear or soft lamp. I like to use floor lamps or spot lamps... Your cham will see this better and know it is for him to bask.

Red lights can be seen by chams... but it won't look like the sun as a normal light might... and when i say 'like the sun' i mean that loosely because a household light bulb doesn't look JUST like the sun... but isn't far off in color. (closer than a read 'heat lamp' by far)
