UVA rays?

Does anyone use UVA bulbs at all? Like daylight blue and other incandescents? I've heard UVA rays are great for a chameleon's eating habits....any other benefits I should know?

Doesn't anyone have an opinion on this? I was tryin to decide between incandescent bulbs and halogen bulbs too...

Yes, I use regular incandescent bulbs on all of my cages.
Yes, UVA does help to boost appetite.
The daylight blue bulbs are nice, but a regular house bulb is all you need.

i have a basking bulb that gives off the UVA and i have a flourescent linear bulb for UVB. i have never tried hallogen bulbs but im very happy wiht the Zoo Med basking bulb
