By the way im getting a new female veiled 5-6 weeks old and need to get a uvb light im getting her next week so need to know what kind of uv light i have zilla but everyone says theres problems with that brand so what i want to know is what brand and output do i get next and images will be posted when i get her if you guys want

The safest light is a ReptiSun 5.0 linear tube fluorescent.

They're available in other lengths too so make sure the length of the bulb and fixture match. I haven't been able to find the reptisun bulbs anywhere around me, but maybe you'll have more luck.

Couldn't tell you for sure. Generally I'd say no. They are pretty clueless about herp care.

Try the chain stores in your area. Their inventories are different per region so you may find the bulbs even though I haven't seen them in my area. I actually did see them at a Pet Supplies Plus once, believe it or not.

If you don't find them, they are available online. If you order as soon as possible, the bulb should arrive before the cham.

I don't know if you live in LA or in the greater LA area but if your close to San Pedro try Creative Pet Supply. They have the same prices as LLL but their local, at least for me they are. I see that your friends with SSimsswiSS, I know at the San Diego show Steve was selling out of Creative's booth.

Chad at Tiki Tiki had his linears for 16.00 last week!, cant beat the price. If you do find one in the chain stores that are double that at least.
