Using Springtails in Vivarium

Hi, I've just gotten some springtails delivered today. I've not done anything with them yet, as I was wondering if I just empty the contents of the container into my vivarium or what? The information sheet that came with them says they can live for up to 2 weeks as they are, but I don't want to keep them in that container, ideally I want them in the vivarium to clean up the waste that's in there. I can't find much information on them, other than usage as food, so I thought I'd try my luck here.
Can anyone help, or has anyone used them in their viv and if so, how?
Thanks :)

In my viv .. I have a layer of hydroton balls and then some screen over it and then I placed in my organic soil and emptied the container of springtails onto the soil, charcoal and all. Then I added my plants leaf litter and sphagnum moss.

Well thing is, I've already got my vivarium set up, so I'm not about to tear it apart just to put in the springtails. I was mainly wondering if I should just dump the container in there, and I think that's what I'm going to do. If they survive fine, and if they don't, then I suppose I will have learned something. ;)

That's what I did - dumped them into my Brev viv and all was well.

Thank you BocaJan, that's what I will do then. I have a Brev viv as well, and that's what the springtails will be going into.
(Just a side note, I am originally from Florida, north of Tampa in New Port Richey).
