Using old T5 fixture from reef aquarium?

I am building my first Chameleon enclosure and I would love to get your expert input on lighting. Is it possible to repurpose a T5 fixture that was previously used on a reef tank over a 24x24x48 mesh enclosure? It is a 4x24w T5 with back reflector and splash guard (Link: http://www.amazon.com/Current-USA-S...599802&sr=8-1&keywords=current+usa+t5+sundial).

If it is fine to use, which T5 bulbs would you recommend and would this fixture satisfy all the enclosure's lighting needs?

You should easily be able to use that fixture for your new setup. All you would really need to do is pick up a T5 UVB bulb and be sure to remove the splash guard as UVB can't pass through the acrylic. I recommend getting an Arcadia bulb in either a 6% or 12% UVB.

As for satisfying all the lighting, you will still need to have a basking bulb for him in a dome fixture so he can bask in the heat and not be required to sit under the UVB.

Thank you, appreciate your help!

Would I only need 1 T5 UVB bulb in there? I do have 3 other slots I could utilize in the fixture.
