So far this is my favorite one.

I'm really starting to get in to Uroplatus. I dig the darker Phantasticus for sure, but they are both nice.
I just picked up a uroplatus lineatus myself this weekend, very interesting gecko, phantasticus and frimbriatus are high on my list too :D
Hopefully you get some eggs out of them ;)

Very nice pair of phantasticus, Luis, especially the female-- bred these last year and they were definitely a joy to keep.

Cheers,

Fabián

Fearaffect,

I usually see them for 125-200ish, depending on whether it was CB or not.

Here are a few more...

We just acquired a trio of Lineatus ourselves.... ;)

This is our biggest girl. She's almost 10"...

Luis

Beautiful girl! I got a male, so he's not quite as stripey ;) But still super cool it watch, they change colours right before your eyes! Best of luck with the trio!

Yeah, that male is pretty stunning. I caught most of them in the feeding dish late last night with mouths full of crickets. I'm very excited to be working these guys. I've always wanted to get into Uroplatus since they were first imported in the 90's and now I've finally taken the plunge. We're working with Phantasticus and Lineatus right now and our next species will be Skiorae. :)

Benny,

I've been reading about how you all can't acquire these as easily. I guess it's payback for us not getting some rarer Chameleon species. ;)

Here's another of the Lineatus....

Thanks!

Thanks, Luis, for FINALLY getting us some pics..... lol:D

They look awesome and I'm glad you took the plunge. You won't be sorry.

Oh, and my other egg has not hatched yet, although watching it very closely. PM sent to you...

Maybe, but it's also very hard here to get the Cameroon Trioceros species. They are here very expensive ! But we have much more Phelsuma species for example ;)

Back to the Uroplatus: How long do you keep those guys ? It's hard to keep them long alive, many people here failed with them

I loved my Sikorae... are the phantasticus just as soft?

I LOVE my 2 pairs of U.Sikorae!! My pair of U.Ebenaui (similar to the U.Phantasticus) are super soft! I think they are all soft, b/c my U.Lineatus are like velvet.

Have you seen CB available yet? I have a feeling that they will be pretty pricey when you do. I kept them for awhile, very amazing animals. When I bought mine my male was around $65 and females were going for $250. People didn't want to let their females go. With all my other herps I really didn't have time or space to get into breeding them. Are you going to try to get babies out of them?

I haven't had them long they just came in yesterday, but the previous owner claims they were LTC and he's been working with them for close to two years.

They've been eating and drinking without hesitation and are some of the better looking specimens I've seen online or elsewhere. I was actually pretty surprised how nice they looked when I saw them! We do intend to breed them, so when that time comes, everyone will know. ;)

Jerm,

I have seen a few CB individuals for sale here and there but nothing readily available. I usually see them go for 175-250ish each. WC individuals usually go for 125ish, or so I've seen.

Thanks,

Luis
