ChameleonTamer

Hi, I'm fairly new here, I live in Vermont and have been keeping chameleons for a few years now. I have had two females living in a large, and i mean large, enclosure. Up until now, they have been very peaceful and had no problems with eachother. Today, however, i woke up to find one of the females with small purple lines which i've deemed to be chameleon bite marks on her back and tail.

What medical action is required and how can i solve this problem?

I don't know much about the bit but it could just be a bruise? As for the aggression it'd probably be best to separate them or divide the enclosure in half.

If its just a bruise, it wil go away on its own, if the bite broke the skin, you can apply neosporin-polysporin to it, bt you may need a vet if it gets infected.

and it sounds like its time to seperate.
