guys i have a problem in my incubator, my veiled is pregnant and i am just preparing. i live in a warmer area soo i have to cool the eggs for me to get 25c so ok.. i used mini fridge and a thermostat, set it to 24-25c.

as it reaches 24c the power turns off, BUUUUT the temperature still continues to go down to 15c.. can anyone help me with incubating veiled eggs in hotter regions

I think what you are most likely seeing is the cooling lines remaining cold after the power to the compressor is turned off. They will continue to cool the fridge until the temperature inside equalizes.

So you will most likely have to adjust the timer so the compressor runs for a much shorter time and then wait for the heat to equalize. However, getting this right with changing temperatures outside could be really difficult.

It would probably be easier to put the eggs in a small room with a portable air conditioner and just keep the room temp in the necessary range. Or you could also try and find an incubator that can do the necessary cooling.
