Urgent - Yemen Shaking

I'm sorry I didn't notice the 18 months old thing.
If he is just green and no other colors and is a yemen, he's a she!

18 months- I'd probably pass on an 18 month old female unless I didn't mind risking a little money. Depending on care, she could be past her prime. Depending a lot because it is a female. In good hands with careful care and no breeding she could live a long while. If she's been fed a lot and kept warm and bred at a young age and produced lots of eggs, some females last only 2 years or so. The difficulty would be, the pet shop probably has no idea what sort of life she has led up to this point...

If she really is a male (look for heel spurs and banded coloration green and yellow or light and dark green rather than solid green color) then 18 months is still fairly young and he could be around for a while...

Two years is really short, makes me worry as the cham i am looking at is 18 months! but hopefully if hes healthy he will get to at least 5 hopefully much more.

Ill stop by the shop tomorrow and get some pictures and ask them about how he is feeding, shedding, drinking and pooing and ask you guys if its all good lol and maybe ask to hold him one more time and see if he is as lively as he was so awesome today haha

Two years is very short but that I believe was due to the care I was giving. I followed the reptile shop advice which was wrong. Lots of research has gone into chameleon care and it's all on here. I have to say that the reptile shop I got Popeye from were spot on.:)

He's definitely a male he does have then banded colours and has spurs, and his 'helmet', so i think I might get him if i go again today and see no issues with shaking etc. as i imagine he has a while left in him =) and he was so playful and happy to climb all over me that i think we would get on super well =)

Kate, yes i think i will get all my research off of here, did you say it was too much D3 that wasnt good for your guys? how much supplements and D3 did you give them for it to cause an early death? Just want to make sure i dont over supplement.

There are lots of brands out there. I use Komodo cricket dust which is plain calcium every feed. He eats every second day. I also use reptivite without d3, which is a multivitamin twice a month and repti calcium with d3 twice a month. That schedule is recommended here. In uk they don't get very much natural d3 from the sun because of our climate. There are all in one formulas out there but I would advise the above till you learn more about supplementation.
