no. Only non-elevated parts of yemen are desert. The chamelons live in the mountains with damp and foggy rainforests. That's why foggers are beneficial to yemen's because in the wild they sit in dense fog.

yemen is not arid; only parts of it are. The mountains where the chameleons live are lush and humid

Your chameleon livesnin the reahion of jigh mountain cloud forests, it lives around 6000ft upnin a very mild climate, nothinv kike the 100km far deserts. Do not get misgaken otherwise uiur animal will terribly suffer and die from oberheating.
you need NO heat emitter yiu need definitelyNO 100 Watt basking bukf, 24-40w maximum is fine and it is adviceabke tk have it ON justbrwo rime for maximum one hour! Not longer!
