Well here are some updated pics of my guy I got from Seeco. He's just SUPER cool in every way possible and he's friendly?! I got lucky with my panther and thought it's just a fluke that he's so kind but so is my fischers. I don't really want to handle them but everytime I open his cage to mist he walks onto the door and onto my shoulder :D Guess I'm special :D The pic quality is still bad due to my phone but you can sort of see his greens. He's much brighter in person and a quick little guy. He always brightens and lightens his colors when I'm near him...flirty guy!! :D:D Just wish the sun would come out, I'm sure he'd enjoy some real sun and a little adventure! I'm sure he'd love a free range too!

Hes uberly cool......one of my top 5 species....and seeco has a nice breeding colony going....
I had several nice ones(1 had a purple head((crown)) and I miss having these little critters around. I kept them outside pretty much year around and they acclimated quit well.

I'd love to have him outside but it's 63 degrees and the moment where I am and cloudy...I'm pretty sure Seeco had him outside as well but it's impossible to do so here. I could possibly make my room into a free range one day and have him out half the day...all the possibilities. I just love how he roars or whatever you'd call, I get a kick out of it! :D

Thats not to cold....hes a montane....he'll love u for it....lol
I kept mine when the temps were in the 40s outside..........

I call it roaring because it reminds me of a horse...hes just blowing out air I think. He does it when he seems to be agitated, he's done it to a cricket that stepped on him. Then he stepped on the cricket lol he's a character!

Oh yeah, I'd call that more of a little hiss but I guess if he was human size it would be a dreadful roar!

Yes, he has lived outside for the last 3-4 months or so.

if he is anything like my female (for some reason she loves me..wether i have food or not, she just wants to hang out on me)..its a first for me..and im noticing(either somthing has changed in my care, or they have changed from captive breeding..but they are all so rad these days)..heres a live action shot on my cham..there are two of her..if you get close to her tree you will wind up with a cham on yer shoulder! lol

she is soo rad..i love her(at first i was bummed it was a female..she has since slapped me in the face with how rad her personality is!!!!!)

He just sounds like a little dinosaur to me. My panther has hissed once during a shed and when I compare his hiss to my fischers hiss, the only thing that comes to mind is a roar :D

He's really quite friendly now so I'm curious how his attitude will be a year from now. I wasn't planning on handling him for a few weeks at least as I'd only be bringing him outside for some sunlight (if the sun ever comes out that is ). When he happened to climb on my shoulder everytime I opened his enclosure I wasn't about to stop him! He's just a fantastic creature.

That's super cool, I love how all chams are so different from each other personality wise. I turn on my guys' lights at the same time, while my panther is going to his basking light right away my fischer waits longer to bask. They're just awesome! :D

That's interesting about the basking. For anyone else with Kinyongia multituberculata I'll suggest that this happens because ambient temperatures of 75F are plenty warm and there is no urgent need to bask. When ambient is 60 they are hunting every ray of light!

I like all this info! :D He tends to be right under or next to his basking, I also have many different ranges of temps where he can bask at 85 under the lamp or 80. He does tend to always go on the highest branch to bask. My temps aren't dropping below 68 even with my window open which may be why he always waits a little longer before climbing to his basking spot. So I'm getting a fan to hopefully cool my temps down a little for him. He's drinking good and has been eating well so I must be doing something right!...I hope :)

Good idea on the fan but only if your humidity is high. Monitor the average humidity in the whole room for the next few days before starting with the fan and report the readings back to me.

Your best bet is to just water more. Is the cage well drained or does water accumulate on the bottom?

I'm thinking to set up a humidifier to see where my humidity is averaging at and then a fan. Eventually the air conditioning will kick in and kill most of my humidity anyways so either way I need a humidifier.

I mist often and have a dripper, I mist about 6 times a day. His droppings are moist and firm, quite perfect so he has enough water. Humidity now averages at about 74%...I have a drainage system so rarely any water is collecting at the bottom.

Took him outside for some sunlight..he turned some really gorgeous colors. Got a few specs of blue and I swear a little pink! The weather here is so bipolar that I can barely keep up with it, one night it's 58 and I've the perfect night time temp for my guys and the next night it's 68. Once winter hits I'll have the perfect night time temps though!

he looks cool michelle!!! Its a good idea to get your self a sunning cage for out side. lots of horror stories about out door free ranging. i have one made with big screen that i put a couple of pole bean plants in, and they grow all over the cage. the chams love it

75 is fine, you don't need a humidifier. Are you near the coast?

I'm not near the coast, about a few hours away. Somehow I manage to keep the humidity up from all the misting and it averages about 74-75%. Both my guys seem to be well hydrated and have a good appetite, so I guess something I'm doing is right but I truly think great breeding and care in the beginning really is the foundation for a healthy, long lived cham. My guy really is stunning and I can't wait to be able to add another addition!

At some point I'm going to get a large cage or some sort of screen cage I can build together to make something very large, I've caught onto the cham bug so that's my next project :D I've brought Titus/Egor outside a few times in the sun for about 30 minutes or so each time. He has quite the appetite and is really starting to color out and just super friendly. Just climbs on my hand while he's on his plant which makes everything quite easy in terms of cleaning and some sun adventures. I'll take updated pics of him soon :D

Yeah, sounds good. Without seeing everything in person I can't critique much more. You must be doing something right though! The only thing I would encourage is more automation -- mister and lights on a timer, heat lights on a thermostat.
