Update on Shy and his warped casque

Last time I posted I shared pics of Shy and his malformed casque. A full body shot followed and there was some concern that he may have MBD. Since then I have worked with him daily, sunning, feeding him a variety of food, monitoring his stress level and making sure his supplements were consistent with what he needed. His appetite has significantly increased, his color is much better and he is moving around his cage more often especially to hunt crickets. His casque is starting to stand up again. In 30 days he went down hill and I am not sure what happened. It disturbs me to think that he could get mbd in a few weeks. I am happy that he is improving. He's a pissy lil guy but I love him.
