The 8 quads that hatched in under 25 days are doing well so far (fingers crossed) :). See "Quad eggs took less than 25 days to hatch!!!" for the latest. Don't you hate it when you have to leave babies with someone else when you go out of town? I really hope these guys make it. It'll be interesting to see if the foods fed to the mother and the way I supplemented her has led to strong neonates, especially considering how long the mother carried the eggs.

This is all very intersting Perry, I have been following but not had anything really to add. I too hate leaving chams with sitters and couldnt imagine leaving baby quads, I hope they do a great job for you.
I would also like to hear more on what you did for the female as I am preparing to breed my girl.

For one thing I fed her more in general. Plus, I added a whole bunch of black soldier fly larvae to her varied diet. I also increased supplementation with pure calcium (no D3) and was very diligent about making sure she received one feeding every two weeks where the feeders were dusted with Repashy's Calcium Plus. She had easy access to a Mega Ray UVB lamp to synthesize her own D3, but also received some D3 through the Calcium Plus. I wish you the best. Laurie has told me great things about you. :)

Sounds good too me, I seem to remember you useing some pre-formed vit a as well, is that only form the Repashy or capsols and/or other forms as well.

I do offer quite a varrried diet to all my chams and have alwasy found it to be a great asset all though each cham always seems to have a preferance for one type of feeder.
I use very little D3 as I have noticed they seem to have a much lower requirement when supplied with a good source of UVB. Black soldier fly larve are new to me and I will have to look into them. Is ther a particular reason for using them.

Sorry for all the questions, and Laurie sure is a sweetheart ;):)

Thx for all your insight and info, I always enjoy your posts.
