Update on Elway with questions

Just thought I would let everyone know how Elway is after a trip to the vet. I didnt make it to the reptile specialist as I mentioned I was gonna do. Yesterday I had to start forcing some dusted crickets in his mouth since he hadnt eaten in two days. I actually got the chance to speak with one of the owners of Northwest chameleons before I did this. He had told me that this Reptaid has really done wonderful things to different sick animals treated. So I decided with his help to place an order. Well this morning, I fed him a hornworm. I made him so mad that he pooped in my hand. But while I was inspecting it , it dropped right down the sink. No chance to take it with me to get tested. I noticed after the fecal matter came out, there was still something on my hand, and on his opening. This was the part I was able to save. It looked kind of white/yellowish type of tapeworm with two little paddle shaped heads on both ends of it. Whatever it was, it wasnt moving. Now I started to panic, so I rushed him and this thing to my local vet for him to look at it. At first, I thought it might be the skin of the hornworms he has digested. The vet looked at it through a scope to see if it had any eggs, which it didnt. Now his colors have been beautiful this whole time while him getting worse. So the vet gave me the panacur with correct dose for him as he ways 70 grams. Im still waiting on another fecal from him so I can get it tested and see what it acually is. Elliot really helped me out yesterday with how to force feed him his crickets and that went pretty good. But man this first dose of pancacur really stressed him out bad. He has since calmed down in his cage thank goodness, but I was so worried I thought he was gonna die right there in the vet. Im still waiting on the mail today so I can get him started on the reptaid. Im hoping the combination will cure whatever it is. As I said earlier, I still have to take fecal back to the vet when I get one, But has anyone else expierenced this with their chams? Anything anyone can suggest on this matter would really help me out.

No actually not sure what it is at all. I saw this the other morning on top one of his leaves. The vet said he didnt see any eggs, but that it did resemble a parasite of some sort. He said it looked like it had a mouth, or something like that, but he said it was mostly digested so he couldnt really tell. Thats why I thougt it might of been the outer skin of a hornworm, or super. Im no doctor, but like I said this is the second time this week. Something is not right for sure. He is closing both eyes during the day and starting to sleep. I also thought it might be uri, but he just doesnt have any of the symptoms people on here talk about. Really worried about him but dont know enough to really know whats going on with him. I will say that the poop i had in my hand today smelled really bad. I want to say it kind of smelled fishy like. Thanks for the help and suggestions. I just got his reptaid so im gonna try to get that in him.
