Update on baby chameleon who had been bitten

Hey guys this is my baby chameleon who had been bitten i have him in a 45x45x45 cm terrarium now he seems alot happier now and is eating alot more aswell i think hes still a bit scared but he is eating of my hand sometimes so he is getting better.

He was bitten by a female chameleon who is slightly bigger than him so i had to seperate them even tho i was told by a reptile shop this would be fine but its done now and he is doing alot better than he was hes still not the same as he was before this happened but we will get there.

Hi there. Nice to see you back. It's also good to see your little boy is doing better. If the bite has left a mark on his skin it will take a few sheds for the skin to get back to normal. Do you feel he is doing better since you separated them?

Hi yes i think he is doing much better now i never even seen him eat before and hes getting quite greedy now lol and when i used to put my hand he would try and get away from me but that has stopped aswell now so hes definetly more comfortable now.

I am glad that you seperated them and he is doing better! It is maddening sometimes to see all the wrong info people are given and then the poor chameleons are the ones who end up suffering.

I know its terrible! i will not be listening to anyone in a reptile shop again but i have got some good advise since using this forum so he is fine now.
