Not too sure what name of this plant is but I like it and it looks really good in the enclosure. Please anyone if you know let me know if it is toxic for a chameleon or if I am good to go!

It almost looks like some type of geranium, but I'm not sure. I'd be hesitant to use it, not knowing what it is. Also, I would remove the wood chips from the floor of the cage. They can be accidentally ingested and cause impaction.

Safe plant lists:

I see that the lists have a specific species listed for geraniums (Pelargonium) and know that there is some controversy with the lists and specific species of plants that are questionable. Either way, it's always a good move to be safe and get a know non-toxic species like pathos, ficus benjamina or scheflerra. These three species have been tried and proven by many and are readily available and cost efficient to replace if/when your cham. munches them to death.

If it's a zonal geranium, they are considered pelargonium. To be safe though, I wouldn't use this particular plant.

Another side note, pothos are often recommended as safe plants, but in reality if your chameleon is a heavy plant eater, pothos can be harmful.

I belive I read somewhere that bradypodions live on Pelargonium in their natural enviroment. could someone confirm this?

Some species are endemic to southern Africa, so I would assume they would. But maybe someone with field experience could answer that for certain.
