Do all chams curl their tail when they sleep? I picked up my young verrucosus on Sat and the two nites that I've had him he has slept on the side screen, perfectly vertical. I've never seen his tail curled, even while basking. Is this a verrucosus thing?? :/ Please and thanks!

I think it might depend on the mood, personally. It is a new home, so he might not feel very safe. This would be why he slept on the side of the cage and not a branch. He needs to settle in more and establish himself.

My melleri don't curl their tails unless the are trying to warm up a lot or unless they are sleeping. but during the day they stretch out.

My Cham sleeps sitting on his curled up tail haha

Both my chams will curl their tails when they sleep and both usually sleep under the basking light once it goes off o_O

No, chams don't always curl their tails at night. My Veiled will sometimes, and sometimes he won't. I think it has something to do with where they are perched for the night...
