Ultrasonic humidifiers?

Hello! I live in California, which makes it's relatively easy to keep the humidity up during the summer; however, now that its fall and winter is coming I will need to get a humidifier. It gets pretty dry lol. I have two panther chameleon in 2'x4' dragon stand cages with one 48 inch hood with reptisun t5 5.0 and exoterra heat bulbs 150 with an adjustable output dome. We are home through the day so they get their misting. I know I need to get an ultrasonic cool mist humidifier, but there are so many on the market. Does anyone have any they would recommend? Also if I would have to get two OR could just split off the tube into dual hoses into each cage. Both cages are next to each other. Thank you :)

They sell one at target that's for kids, it has an elephant trunk, I use that one, remove the elephant face cover and I piped some pvc into the hole where the humidity pumps through, pretty effective.
Please remember to keep it clean, you have to disinfect the system pretty often, I recommend every two weeks. Bacteria and algae can develops in the tank, the humidifier, and the inside of the pvc.. it is somewhat of a task to keep this thing healthy but it is very effective in keeping humidity up.
Good luck!

I used a Vicks, and glued plastic hose to a bottle and shoved it into the output. It worked great, but I bought a Mistking and no longer use it. The models that I own are no longer i production, but Vicks make some good ones.

Thank you for the fast replies! Do they produce enough humidity to only need one if I split the tubes or would I need one for each cage? I do most research on amazon I feel like for reviews and they have one called pure that was top rated that I have been thinking about. Just not sure since I don't believe it has a knob to adjust amount released.

I don't think that one we be enough for two cages, Why not a misting machine? If Mistking is above your comfort price, there's Climist for a little less, but no one has a lot of experience with the latter, although their parent company is a sponsor here.

I have the tubing pointed toward the side of the cage, and located mid way on the side from the top and bottom [as well as mid way from back to front], so it's not pointed toward the lights. The opposite side of the cage is now covered with plastic and the back side as well [which I did after I took this picture]. If the end of the tubing is pointed upward, it will accumulate water, so I tied on a wooden skewer to straighten it. You can see it blowing in the white mist at the end.

I bought the pure one of amazon and it's very nice but not ideal bc you can't use a timer with it due to the digital switch, it must be manually turned on and off.

Sunpentown is the brand I've used with the least maintenance and most durability. They have a 2 gallon size and it can run close to 8 hrs on full blast or several days, set on a timer to come on for short intervals.
