UK DEVON chameleon owners?

do you get heat problems in the winter? i havent had mine through a winter and it gets pretty cold
Yes. We are expecting low temps this weekend. I use a basking light during the day to a temp of about30c. I also have a ceramic heat emmiter on a thermostat which doesn't kick in till temps reach 13 - 14. C chams benefit from a drop in temps overnight. I have an adult male panther. What do you have? Different chams sometimes have different requirements.

i have a male panther aswell
i try to never let me drop below 18 c
im going to be covering the back and sides with polythene sheets soon to see how it helps

I take it you have a screen cage. Mine is wood three sides. Glass doors and metal screen top. It works well for me.

Mine are mesh an I don't have a problem as the heating is on anyway

And I just use 25w basking bulbs and t5 12% UVB tubes

i use a 100watt basking bulb and a 25 watt 5. 0 uvb
