Types of Panthers..

Hello everyone,
My girlfriend and I are becoming obsessed with chameleons!
We started out with a male Jackson's. Unfortunately, he died about a month after we got him. We're pretty sure he was sick before he came into our care. The store we got him at keeps their chameleons in a foot tall glass cage with a water dish for drinking.....
Shortly after we got him, we bought a baby Veiled, who is still going strong! We just bought a female Jackson's a few days ago and just took her back tonight. She was already showing signs of being sick after just a few days of having her. So.. we are left with just the Veiled. He seems to be healthy and growing fast!!
So, my question..
I've been reading about Panthers a lot. I've come across Ambanjas, Ambilobes, Nosy Bes, and so on.
I was wondering if someone could tell me what all of these different names are, and which ones are what color??
Pictures would be awesome!
Thanks guys!

Ambanja, Nosy Be, Ambilobe, etc are all regions in Madagascar. When you see someone ask for the "locale", this is what they're referring to. Colors are widespread. Nosy Be's are typically blue. ambi's can be blue, red, yellow, green, orange, etc...

it's the locales. if you want a really good rundown of locales, go to http://www.cleanlinechameleons.com/ . They have a basic description and then you can google search to see some that are available. Male panthers are the only ones that show the coloration mentioned on that website. females are beautiful, too, but their coloration is different.

For example, I have a baby nosy faly. He will grow up to be mostly blue with red rain and yellow around the mouth and - hopefully - plenty of white as well.

Ambilobes- all colors- red, green, yellow, blue, purple, all variations (dependent on which bloodline they come from)
Ambanjas- primarily blue, purpleish, and some have green and maybe a bit of reddish tone to them.
Nosey Be- Blue- might have some white or slight red rain (red pinhead dots)
Nosey Faly- Blue, white, and should have lots of red rain. some have yellow cheeks.
Sambava- sort of similar to ambilobes, though the shape of the head is different.
Nosey Mitsio- red eye turrets, electric green body, and sometimes yellow body. (probably wont find if you are state side)

the name is where in madagascar it came from.
