I'm building my male veiled chameleon a custom cage and I've heard that there needs to be a specific type of screen that is needed for it. What type of screen is this? Thanks!

The screen used in screen cages are the same as the screen you see in screen window covers or screen doors.
If you're making your own, I recommend getting a different kind. Try getting coated chicken wire or something thicker than the screen that regular cages use. Chams tend to get their toes stuck in and ripped off by the screen.
I would try to get something coated with plastic and big enough for their foot to get through, but not themselves through. So they don't injure their feet.
