1: my cham is 7 months old and it would be the first time i've attempted to take her out, it's nice today and i see a nice little tree where she wont escape. but my issue is, will she get attacked by birds? i live in roselle illinois, its a nice little suburb and i've never personally seen any hawk here. There are a few birds but they arent too big themselves. any ideas?

the tree is very exposed, but it is also tall, i'm afraid i won't be able to get her back down... LOL ( the tree is, for a tree very small, it's about... 10 ft take or add a few ft)

2: how do you guys safely take crickets out? i'm yet to find a method because those mofos jump HIGH, i have pre-adult crickets, and adult crickets. any ideas?

I wouldn't advise letting your Cham into a 10 foot tree unless you have a 10 foot ladder ready.........:)
You always need to watch out for birds.....crows get everywhere, surely?
Can you get like a big laundry basket or some other outside enclosure? Needs to be extra secure, of course. What do you want to take the crickets out for? I don't get that question, really......keep them in a box and take them out one at a time.......

nonononon out for feeding XD
like, out of their home, into the cage

and i have a small cage that i used when my female was a youngin, it's 16x16x24 i beleive, hows that?

I actually take my crickets and locusts out into the sun too sometimes.......lol, but how do you feed them indoors? Just do it the same way........
If he seems uncomfortable with too little room, then get something bigger, but I'd say it was worth a try. My male has just outgrown the laundry basket I used for him, and money is tight right now, so I'll have to come up with something good if I want to leave him out at all now..........
