two face or just two colors...

Took a picture of Cory and then I noticed she was different colors on different sides. Pretty cool didn't even know they could do that!

I've seen crested geckos do that, too.

I always thought that if they changed colors it would be the whole body not one side one color and the other a different one. She was matching the backgrounds on either side of her since I was being rude quite clearly by staring

Could have to do with the positioning of the lighting.

Veileds are 100% capable of having 2 different colours on 2 different sides at the same time. I see it daily with my male and it's not the lights. Usually the other side is bright and the other is dark.

I have been handling my Veiled before and he has been a nice green colour on the side facing me, and darker with black spots on the side facing my fiance. I guess he was telling her to back off!
