Hey Gang,

First off let me start by saying thank you to the many ppl who are constantly answering my all of my questions I truly appreciate it!

So I've been racking my brain as to why my Cham is almost always a dark color from a dark green to the point of grey. I have checked and double checked most of my husbandry and can't find the source. The last thing I think might be the cause is my TV. Lucy is in my living room and is approx 10 feet away from my TV which is normally on when I'm home. I'm thinking this has to be it and am rly hoping it isnt as its pretty much the only thing I cant change for her.

She moves around fine and eats and drinks without issue. Her poop has a bright white urite (spelling??) So I know she is well hydrated. She had some stress as she isn't much for being held and I have had to bring her out a few times for cage maintenance and changing things up to better fit her needs. She will Hiss but then realizes I'm not to afraid of her and just goes with the flow. I assume she will be more of a "look but dont touch" Cham and I'm fine with that as she came form a Pet store and sure thats why she is so shy. I just wanna make sure I'm doing everything on my end to make her content and happy.

I even changed her back ground from black to white today to brighten the place up.

She's also not very high off the ground, nor does she have many vines and plants to hide behind. Try adjusting those things to see a change. As for the TV, that would be my last concern - they don't really hear, so unless the TV is on when her lights are out and she's not able to fall asleep due to the flickering on it I would look to other causes. Keep us posted!
