I saw that Squee was hanging out at the back of his cage facing the windoe, which his cage is in front of.
Since the back of his cage is covered in plastic, he cant see out so well, so I used my Exacto knife to cut a nice opening so he see out the window, which he loves.
This evening, the timer turned his lights out, a few minutes later, I heard a lot of russeling of leaves and moving around.
Squee was so preoccupied looking out his window, he forgot to 'que up' for seepy-by time.
So, when the lights when out, he was caught in the dark and stumbling to find his favorite sleeping spot and put his jammies on.
So I turned a room light on for him to find his way.
He got on his sleeping spot, put his jams on, and shot a glance over to me
like, 'okay, now I'm ready"!
Lights out and Squee's cage gets covered.
Meanwhile, Smeagie is on the free range (he is allowed to sleep outside his cage on weekends) and has fallen asleep in a very awkward spot, clinging upside down on a piece of 1/4 mistking tubing!!
I know in the morning, I always have to take him home, all cold and weak, so I had to move him to a different spot.
I move him very gently, and he doesn't protest. When I get him moved, I softly stroke his chin with my finger for a few minutes, and he is fast asleep!!
Just another Friday evening at Psychobunny's home for chams!!
Oh!! and Kiwi my Mex Red Knee T finished her shed (1 year in the making) and emerged vibrant, twice her size, and very hungry!!
She snatched a very large silky the second it hit the floor!
