Max is old, he started w/ one tumor - now I have found 2 more, so thats 3 - one has erupted threw the skin kinda but is not raw , more like a big dry lump - he sees the vet in the AM - but how common are they ? what should I expect , I am feeling a bit down about this - and he has been dropping weight despite 2 clear fecal test - he eats like a cow- but is dropping weight despite this :( I hope these are some kind of weird skin thing I have never seen before , and not tumors -

Max is his own! You know from the day we got involved with Max,he has never followed normal rules. This will be fine. Even if the are rumors of some kind, if you can feel them close to the skin, they may be easily removed. Max will endure. He always comes around.

Thanks " Mom " :p I hope so - he is such a sweet guy. He is going in with the new rescue who lost his tongue- I think he may be cooking a uri , and he did not have a clean fecal  and has a small abscess on his chin - so I want to get that cleared up too - I think that is why he keeps throwing up - he only has done that once w/ me- but once to many

My dear old Tommy had a mass in/on his liver. I noticed that his rib cage was mis-shapen on his side, and by researching anatomy online I realised it was in the area of his liver, so I asked the vet but he couldn't feel anything untoward. On doing xrays, my fears were confirmed. He had a tumour on his liver that had grown rapidly. I made the decision to let him go whilst he was still sedated for his xrays.

My George had papillomas that looked similar to Luie's lumps so that's another possibility. Here's his thread, the last page has good pics as they grew over time: https://www.chameleonforums.com/george-had-surgery-88480/

thanks for the link :) it is right where the 4th pic shows the cutting, the biggest one, and then 2 smaller ones , one by the hip, one by the back - they look like the bumps on Jann's cham, but are in the places yours are -

I will let you know what the vet says everyone - on both chams - as long as it will not make him sicker, or have a poor quality of life, I do not mind the bumps - lol - but he can hardly walk anymore- he lives in a "hammock " cage - I just will not have any of my guys suffer just so I wont feel "sad" about putting them down - so if its something bad, well, its what ever is best for Max - but hopefully its nothing bad.

Thanks again for all the help and advice you guys- you are the best !! :D
