tuesday morning arrival

I cried when I opened my first chameleon shipment (probably more from relief that he was alive and healthy than anything else), so it was really cool to watch you open your first one! He is a little cutie, and Vince and Farrah are at the top of the top in the business.

Yes, Vince is great. He called me to make sure everything was going good.

I recently ran into quite a problem though. The " baby" cage i bought from kammerflage kreations has two holes in every corner where the frame meets. Including on the door and bottom panel flapping door. The crickets very muchly enjoy hiding inside these holes.... bastards. I work at a petshop so I hardly have a problem that I can't fix. Also, my boss is a 65 year old Biology Herpoligy Major so NO questions go unanswered. She recommended I use fish tank silicone due to the fact its non-toxic, quick drying, and fish are the most sensative creature humans have decided to try and domesticate. It worked perfectly and flawlessly. I remodeled Fry's cage in the midst of all this also. He is happy as can be :) Has anyone else had problems similar to this? And how do you feel about the silicone I used?

p.s. Fry is acting, eating, drinking, and pooping (lol poop) normally so I don't think any of it effected him any.

feed back pretty please =]

I use aquarium silicone all the time on cages without a problem. I wait until the smell is gone before I put the cham in...that's just me though :)

BTW I loved your video it was adorable!

I didn't cry- but I was shaking and nearly hugged the UPS (or was it FedEx?) guy! As if he had any idea what was in that box- wouldn't he have been surprised!

thread ressurection

Here's an update on fry. Been really busy with work but I managed to snag some pics of him when my bf had his camera with him.

(giant cage from flchams in the mail btw)

thank you! I'm just wanting a confirmation he's normal and healthy. He's my first so I'm new to everything. Are his joints alright? I've been worried like anne frank about MBD.

He's gorgeous, and looks healthy. I want to point out about his cage though, it could use a little more cover! when it gets to the point where it can take a few minutes to find him, then he's got enough plants ;)
Well, maybe it doesn't have to be that thick. I don't expect you to worry about it right now- as I see you have a bigger cage on the way.
