Looks like your veiled Cham has a tarsal which means you have a male, the crown isn‘t determinate of the sex. i don‘t Have a veiled so I’m not the leading authority but I am sure others will let you know for sure.

Most definitely a handsome guy. 🥰 He does look a bit young, and if so, he still has some growing to do. Each male will have a different and unique casque. Some have massive casques and some are smaller, some are almost forward leaning casques, and some have a more gradual lean back. Even males from the same clutch have their own variations. This is a huge post, but you can see the many variations of brothers. https://www.chameleonforums.com/threads/hammy-and-ivy-baby-thread.174567/ Making sure uvb and supplements are correct will also play a huge role in proper casque formation.

yes he is about 6 months! i was so skeptical when i first got him because as he was growing his crown looked like a girls crown and at the time that's the only way i knew how to tell the difference between male and female but learned a couple weeks back that males have that little spur/spike on their back feet...still a learning process for me😁😁 he is getting a vet check up pretty soon so i can make sure i'm fully doing everything right!

Males also have the vertical stripes, like your guy has. Here’s what a female looks like for comparison.

*Ignore the fake plants - was my first chameleon and I was learning still.
