Try this with your isopods(giant canyon)

I'm sure some of you do this, but figured I'd post about it. This is mainly regarding giant canyons, which are probably the thing people order from me most often, whether for feeders or bioactive enclosures. Im sure there are other species that would do a good job with this too, but I prefer the canyons. I like to keep a large bin of soil with these isopods in my roach room. They work as composters and I dump old moldy food, roach frass, dead bugs, pieces of egg flats, and really anything else that could go in a compost bin. The isopods absolutely thrive off of it. The soil in the bin becomes very soft and rich, I've used it in flower pots and it could be used as a top layer in bio enclosures. So make use of those giant canyons people! Very simple and makes cleaning other bins easier because you can just toss it all in there.
