Trouble with my cham

Any advice would be great!!

Had an appointment today for my Cham as her eyes are buldging.
I had to cancel 2 appointments as I can get her out as she keeps becoming aggressive, the appointment was also to check her legs as she fell off the branch other day. She won't even come out if I use locusts. I can only hold my arms in the air for so long before it hurts.
How do I get her out???
She is an adult veiled and is about 5 1/2 years old and is 95% friendly all the time.

Put a stick in and gently usher her from behind onto the stick.

or get a plant and do the same thing.

OR take the whole thing with you to the vet.

and wear gloves.
:D

Wear gloves and be strong! I've been battling and faffing trying to get my girl out for 5 months and only did it finally yesterday!

Don't go in there to try, go in there to do it! One hand in front, one behind and if she raises up put your hands underneath and gently persuade her out.

Do you have a friend that could give you a hand?

Well I don't want her to be scared, long objects scare her and her perch is at the back and in the corner!!

What if I move her basking light to the front?? Would that move her spot so to speak??

I think the others are right, just go for it. It's bound to upset her a little bit, but who doesn't get upset about going to the vet? My cat HATES being put in his travel box. It'll be over before she knows it.
My veiled hates being taken out his cage too. I usually put a hand behind him and nudge him onto my other hand. Then gently encourage his tail to uncurl from around the branch...lol or I take out the his basking branch with him still on it. It's also awkward tho! Good luck :)

I havnt got her out but with latex gloves iv iv had success grabbing her gently but she's being stubborn!!
How the hell do people get their chams out whilst trying to keep appointments???? Are all chams like this??

I don't know about ALL chams but mine certainly is! You just have to hold her with one hand and gently pick her limbs from the branch one by one. Theoretically, she should grip onto your hand for support and you can unravel her tail with your finger once you got a hold in her.

My girl doesn't like the branch approach either, if you come at her with a stick she suicide jumps down into a plant so I can't get her!

Suicide jumps that's crazy!!! They clearly think beyond instinct. I wonder what their memory is like!
I will let her calm down til 2murro then will give her another go.

She is likely grumpy because she is in pain and irratated. Then they do get agressive.

You may well need to use gentle force.
Ware a pair of gloves, and hve a towel ready.

Just grab her quicky using both hands if needed.

Dont poke around or hesitate, this will just make matters worse.
Once she is out of her cage, she should calm down.

This is how her set up is and you will see its not easy to get her ImageUploadedByTapatalk1345466940.826999.jpg
