When E.T. got sick :(

Poor guy, he looks gray, hopefully it's because he is about to shed. This was last night while I was removing all the crickets he didn't eat. He hasn't eaten for over a day now probably because of the Albon he is on for his coccidia.

I think i'm just being super paranoid right now, I had a post in the health clinic about this yesterday, his head has been similar to this for about a week now.

Wow, he's gotten big! Love the colors on him. Have you or are you going to move him to a larger cage? I know you and I had the same set up and chams probably got our chams around the same time. Mine is going to need a bigger cage in the next month or so.

and my guy gets all gray and stops eating for his sheds also. He eats voraciously when its all said and done though

So i'm hoping his loss of appetite isn't a major problem it's just a combo of him getting ready to shed and being on Albon to treat his coccidia problem.

He is only about 5.5 months now, i guess you would know that though since we have chams around the same age. I have a 16x20x20 i want to move him into soon, but I wanted to get him treated, get the mistking system setup, and establish adequate drainage.

the only reason I worry about this shed is that he has been gray for about a week now, but mainly on just his head.

Dont worry about him. Albon will suppress appetite pretty badly. Chams can go alot longer without food than people generally think. Just continue his treatment, Im sure he will be fine. The main thing to do while a cham is on albon is to keep them well hydrated. Dehydration while on albon can cause kidney failure, so keep up on the mistings. Feel free to pm me with any other questions you may have.
