Did you dig to see if she laid eggs? The female should be hungry right after laying them generally...and thirsty too.

I didn't dig yet as i wanted to give her time to go back down if she needed to,she took a big drink of water but has spent her time basking under her light since she came out of the laying bin

wow sound like you had one stressful moment. May have been good that you dug her out. I typically, make my substrate enough so i packs together like a tunnel. So, from the sounds off it the substrate may have just collapsed, which can suffocate them. However, they are pretty smart, and can dig really well. Typically, I keep my lights on, as I typically would run them and stay out of the way. Good job.

No,no chance at all,she's never even seen another cham,i can't tell you my relief when i found the eggs (i think you can guess!) i hope it's a LONG time till that happens again LOL!

Hi all...still that my girl got though everything OK,went out and treated het to some new greenary! got a Gardina,umbrella plant and a lovely bushy ficus..what do you think??
