Love male Crest what's the life expectancy of this species?

From what I can find, I think 3 years is a generous number for a male. Now, that information is fairly dated and there might be a better idea of lifespan in captivity.

I will ask some of my friends who breed this species in Europe to see if they have a better idea of lifespan.

Soon! ;)

I love how the dark line on the eye turrets sweeps up and continues along the crest to the casque. What's that crest called? Occipital crest?

In the first female picture it looks like a band of shed is tight around her front leg. Is it old shed or an injury?

Yes, me too. I would suppose it would be called occipital crest since we would be referring to something pertaining to the back of the head.

That is actually an injury. All but one of her legs were fairly banged up.
