Trex decking for enclosure

Has anyone used trex composite decking to build their enclosure? I wonder if it would have any negative effects or chemicals that are released. It's not cheap but you wouldn't need a ton for an enclosure anyway. Has good water resistance...just a thought.

Isn't it really heavy? All I know about trex decking is that its slick as snot when frosty or covered with fresh snow. Ask me why I know...

Yes fairly heavy but I can't imagine it being too bad used as framing for a pvc/screen cage. And yes I've experienced that too lol
