Transporting Chameleons

Hey guys I am moving about 45 mins from here and wondering how I should get my chameleons there the least stressful way possible any ideas? Oh and I have to do it in one trip.

Keep them in something dark, like a box with a blanket on the bottom. They'll fall asleep (or at least not see what's happening, and so stay calmer) and be fine for the trip. I moved to a place 3 hours away and that's how I kept my guys. And by the time we unloaded the truck and set up the cages they'd been in there about 7 hours and were just happily sleeping.

Sweet what is the max time they will be okay for?

Depends, I don't think there is a set number of hours. If you move late in the evening, they can probably stay in there until morning. As soon as they're set down in the new place and they're not bouncing around in the car, they should just stay asleep just fine. I'd try to set up their cage as one of the first things if possible. Make your bed, unpack a couple cups, your bathroom stuff, and set up the cage lol At least so they can go into it in the morning and drink and stretch their legs.

put a moist paper towel at whatever container you used. I just used a cricket keeper with a towel over the top so he can't see...

A shoe box with paper towels... cover the box so no light can enter.. keep the box cool. the cham will fall asleep after about 20 minutes. It is normal for the cham to scratch and feel it's way around the box but will go to sleep if not disturbed.

Still in Little Rock?

no just heading to little rock now
Hi, are you still in Little Rock? My sister lives there, she is looking for a cham to be her first.
Do you ever breed them? She would love to get a veiled and I like the idea of not having to ship them.
