too much foliage

Hi,

I've just added an extra ficus to my veiled's cage cos his umbrella plant was drowning. Is it too much foliage for him? He's doing a good job exploring it.

Nope. in fact, id want more foliage the top of the cage.

no not at all. i would even add more. maybe some pothos or fake vines to make some more hiding places.

In my panthers cage i can only see him when hes on the top branches or at the basking spot. when he goes down into his plants i can never find him. it give him privacy and plenty of places to explore.

You can go absolutely crazy with foliage in my opinion. I agree, add more

I put some more in & he does seem happier about it, his colour brightened.

It's amazing how his colours have brightened! I'll put a bit more in tomorrow, once I've hosed down the fake vines. They haven't been washed since they came out of his baby cage.
