Toes not shedding

Chameleon Info:
Your Chameleon Panther Chameleon, 6 month old female.
I have had her for about 2 weeks
Handling I take her out everyday but only when she wants to come out.
Feeding so far just crickets I give her about 12 a day sometimes a few more if she is hungry.
Supplements not to sure what company they are made by they are at my boyfriends house but the calcium is in a blue container and vitamins pink?
Watering waterfall (pretty sure she never uses it) I mist her twice daily and I see her drink while I mist her, she also has a dripper but she doesn't seem to drink from that either.
Fecal Description dark brown and white... never been tested since i have had her
History she has been healthy so far *knock on wood*



Current Problem I have had my girly for about two weeks now, when I first picked her up I noticed she was starting to shed little bits here and there. After about a week her body shed in less then 24 hours. I noticed that one of her toes where not peeling but I figured I would give it a little time. I know that sometimes the feet take a little more time to peel I had a bearded dragon and his feet always took a little longer. It's now been about a week and there is still some skin there. Her toe on one of her back feet has not peeled and her foot is a darker colour then the rest of her feet.
I put her in some water in the sink today, just enough to cover her toes, to sock her foot.
Is there anything else I can do that will help her foot peel? I don't want her losing circulation in her foot.

Have you tried a wet Q-Tip and gently rub after she soaked?

dont forget this important thing chameleons are not dragons! They dont have to shed every part of their body every time they shed. and most of the time the will shed in sections. unless you see the dead skin on her foot there really isnt a reason to freak out

yeap I rubbed her foot with a wet Q-tip and there is dead skin it looks like it should peel its just not

the body grows the skin sheds. you dont want to mess with it too much since riping it off may cause an issue

Amanda is it the top of the foot? underneath, or the whole foot? Maybe you could mist the foot/feet once a day.
The underside is rarely a problem since walking on rough bark branches (if any) helps, just as it would in the wild. the top is a bit tricky though seeing as there is little contact
with branches normally.
Mine gets little bits stuck on the tip of his tail so what i do is wait till he settles for sleep
then squirt/mist some water into the tail coil. It seems to stay there and since hes not moving for hours, has a good opportunity to 'soak in'. a few nights of this soon loosens of the shed without problem.
I see no reason this wont work with your chams feet too. Its worth a try.

when my reptiles shed, i up there misting for the day,a nd if one spot is having trouble, i use additional water sprayed directly to the section.

my chameleon has trouble with probably 2/10's of a inch of his tail.

Using a lubricant like KY jelly will sometimes help with this though. I am concerned though that you say the area is turning dark. Do you have any pictures you can post? The last thing you want is for the shed to cut off circulation to her foot

Her foot is getting better. Now its just her last little toe on the outside on the top and some of the skin is coming off her foot. I have been bathing it twice a day in some warm water and then misting her foot also. It seems to being alright it is just taking forever to come off. Ever since the top of her foot has started to peel the color hasn't been so dark. She does have branches and vines its not under her foot that is having the problem.
