HEY HEY GUESS WHAT! lol caps... :) Remember me everyone? well..... what happened is Jade produced eggs! She started her tunnel maybe.... nine, ten-o-clock? Well i think shes done now :) what an amazing thing! she didnt mate so they are unfertile or infertile or whatever. I will take the eggs out tonight or tomorrow, you know so they dont... stink. she laid them in a planter pot i had in there it has a plant in it. should i give her a little longer then tomorrow before i come in and take the eggs?

Thanks to all
Jade~

Ps. now i know why she was so fat! aand sorry for not coming on i have been busy. TOOTLES!

I remember you :) I am glad she is doing well! I usually take the eggs as soon as she comes up to the top. Make sure she gets lots of water and extra food with calcium for a few days! ;)

Will do! lol and i remeber you suzi lol :) She is sleeping now. And i have one more question. Do chameleons produce eggs more than once without mating? or more then that? lol And she has been very well hydrated.

Females will continue to produce eggs without being mated. You can slow it down and in some cases stop it by not overfeeding and keeping her temps in the low 80's.

Don't forget they often dig pratice holes. Some of my girls, panthers especially, don't look a whole lot different after they lay while others look like an empty tube of toothpaste. The way you can sometimes tell is that they don't cover the practice holes up like they do when they actually deposite the eggs. I have one of my smaller panther girls who barely looked pregnant and ended up dropping 39 perfect fertile eggs!! Biggest clutch on record for me.
