Time to go to the vet

So I have been trying to figure this out with my chameleon making popping noises and all. Everything points towards a URI, so I am going to take him to an exotic vet ASAP (Tuesday). The one thing that is bothering me is how did this not happen at the breeders but happens with me? Did he have it but they didn't see it as much because they have other chameleons? Is it the environment in my room? If anyone can help me figure this out it would be greatly appreciated. I will tell you how his cage is set up and where. I am located in the basement of my house it used to be very stuffy so I opened my window and cause air to flow through my room. My chameleon (5 month male ambilobe) is in an all screen cage dimensions being 18X18X24 located on the opposite side of my room away from the window and any drafts. When I first had him moisture was on the bottom of the cage and stayed there which I believe to have started all of this(fixed this by drilling holes on the bottom to get rid of excess water). I took him to a vet but they said he had oral inflammation so I contacted the breeders they said to return him there so they could observe him. He was there for around 2.5-3 weeks and noticed nothing sent him back and he was at it again. I am not one to give up on an animal but I am not one that will make him stay here to die, but I would much rather try to get this figured out so I could keep him.
Sorry for putting so much I just want to make my little guy happy.

Good luck :) And don't worry, we post novels on here all the time

It could be from a draft, too much humidity, standing water, etc. it could have also been that he was hiding it from stress from the move back to the breeders. Just get him checked out and see what's wrong.

If you fill out the how to ask for help form we might be able to help improve anything that could be wrong. Also write down anything that you can think of (even if it seems unimportant. It could be helpful for others to help you.)
