I was just wondering how much time we all spend tending to our little friends.
I spend about 1 1/2 hours everyday. In the morning between getting ready for work I spend about 30 minutes total. First turn on a lamp and uncover their cages. I wait for them to wake up and then turn on their lights and make sure everyone is ok. Finish getting ready for work and then fill up the drippers, feed, re-check everything before I hit the door.
When I come home from work I say hi to the hubby, dog, etc and off to spend time with my chams. I open their cage doors and check for poop and talk to them while making sure they look okay, moving around good, look alert, checking their eyes for dehydration, etc. Then I'll sit back away from them and just watch my little guys. Rocko will come to the cage door and I'll let him out sometimes to chill on his huge tree branch in the corner of the room. Cabo has a huge tree branch too. Then it's, empty the catch pans, check on the feeders and replenish their food and this all takes about an hour and then they're ready for bed. Winter days stink, they are too short.
How about ya'll?
