Thumbs up to Light Your Reptiles

I finally got around to opening a quad fixture I received six or seven weeks ago. This was the fourth fixture I had purchased from Light Your Reptiles this year. Two previous fixtures, 48" quads, had two plant bulbs instead of one. No big deal--I figured the plants would be really happy, but I did mention it when I ordered this fourth fixture mainly because I wanted to know which bulb the pinky light was. The plant bulbs are worth a bit more than the daylight bulbs, so my plants and I came out ahead, really.

Well, surprise, surprise--when I finally got around to opening my new order I found quite a few extra bulbs. The most, absolute most, I could have expected was two extra daylight bulbs that were missing from two of the previous fixtures. Just to be clear, there were no empty sockets, just two more expensive plant bulbs instead of one.

Todd sent me extra UVB and daylight bulbs How many extra, Todd? Five? Completely unexpected!

Not only did he send extra bulbs, but in the new fixture he had a bulb half in so it was super easy for me to remove to replace it with one of my extra plant bulbs. If anyone has tried to remove Arcadia bulbs, you will understand how thoughtful that was of Todd. The clamps that hold the bulbs are a really snug fit. Until you've bought something from Todd, you don't appreciate how thoughtful he is, writing little notes all over the place so you can't possibly get it wrong.

Thank you Todd. Great service as usual.

I thought you said you were missing those. LOL;)

Thank you Jajeanpierre,
I am so glad you like and now we have more of these quads in stock.
:)

Great to hear. Can't wait until I can finish saving up for a quad fixture. I hope they don't sell out before then!

Yeah I just ordered a 24 inch a day or 2 ago and my 5 month old tamatave baby he should be really happy when he gets here. I buy all my stuff with them now. Since I had to call last time because how well everything was packed and all the little notes just to say thanks. This is the only place I order lights and fixtures now

Thank you so much Kboz1991 !
;)
I think you will be very pleased.

Remember, you can always e-mail me if you ever need me. I am here to help.
Thank you,
Todd

PS.
The mix of bulbs in the quads (the Arcadia + 2x Daylight + Plant Pro) creates spectacular lighting.
Colors will POP and plants will GROW.

I'm really excited I have that' jungle dawn spot light on on my plants I'm growing for the future and they are growing like weeds. I cant wait to get it all se up thanks again.

I'll chime in here and agree with all of the above. I emailed Todd to figure out what I would need and he responded with so much information! Very helpful, but I was initially shocked at the price. (See, I come from the snake world...lighting is not needed so I had NO idea). After thinking about it, I realized that if I wanted to do it right, I had to set it up right. And so I went with the 24" quad. Arrived today (fast shipping!) and there was even a very cool pen with a light on it.

Thanks again Todd!

PS.

It is just a matter of time before snake world realizes how cool animals are in naturalistic set ups :)
I predict beautiful planted cages with GTPs and Tree Boas , Emerald Boas -- all becoming the standard in about 4-5 years.
Set ups all using enhanced lighting and UVB.

Trust me-- you have no idea what moderate UVB and full spectrum lighting can do for snakes. ;)

There have been multiple discussions on MVF regarding lighting and chondros. Some think they need it, some don't. Here are some of my former animals here. I miss them. :(
