There are three newly discovered species of chameleons from the Calumma genus and more specifily the Nasutum complex. These discoveries are a continuation of the sorting out of the taxonomy of of the incredibly complex Nasutum complex. This is a link to the article.

Reviving this old thread, so Nasutum split into three species?

The count of the Calumma nasutum complex is 9 species in the complex and 4 new species. I think my reference is old and think there has been more new species added.

The site is not listing Calumma roaloko and I think there are other new species as well.

The search continues. There is new Calumma nasutum complex species not listed such as Calumma hofreiteri, Calumma emelinae and Calumma pinocchio.

I think there are more new species as well. That is a dozen species in the Calumma nasutum complex now.

Interesting. This species has gained my attention. I saw underground reptiles with wild caught available. But I’m not exactly in the position to wanting to buy soon either.
