Threadworms?

Sound awful but some of my family members have been infected with threadworms. Can any one tell me if we could be picking them up from our Chameleon?

im not a doctor or a vet....
Have you had your chams tested for parasites?
get a fresh poo.... and bag it... and head to the vet to have it tested.
if you cant take an extremely fresh poo, ziplock, place in fridge... good for a few hours.

you should take the freshest poo you can to the vet....
and i would guess they wouldn't charge a whole butt-load(pun intended)...

generally parasites are species specific but occasionally the "wrong" parasite can live in the "wrong" host for a while and occasionally one can cause problems for the "wrong" host.

Threadworms (pinworms) are a human parasite. They are passed from human to human. They are not from your chameleon. They are very common in children as they have poorer hygiene habits and the worms make the anus itchy.
