Thoughts on plants?

I'm upgrading my veiled chameleons cage to a DIY 2x2x4 and I want to go with some live plants for her. I was just looking for some opinions from you all as to what you use and like, particularly what would work best indoors.

is use pothos in my cages...they are vines so you can run them all throughout the cage and they are super easy to care for inside...most people use pothos, ficus, schefflera...hibiscus is also a great plant but really hard to care for inside

I really like ficus ali and scheffelara. They seem to do well in my cages. I make sure they have a well drained pot, a layer of hydrotron pellets or washed gravel... the hydortron is WAY lighter though, and a potting mix that is about half sand so the soil dosen't just turn to mud with all the water from misting/dripping. Pothos is another good plant that is very hard to kill. Cheers!

Great, thanks for the suggestions. And now, with these, do you have to worry about your chameleons eating them due to toxicity, or are they all non-toxic to them?

I use Dracanea and Hibiscus in my bigger cham cage and a smaller hibiscus in my smaller cage... The only problem I have is the hibiscus seems to attract a LOT of aphids... But the flowers are great when they come in

So I got my little girl a pothos to start with. I'm anxiously awaiting the arrival of her new cage to put it in, but I have to wait until next Monday. =( For not I have her plant hanging in my window. She seems to like it, she climbs right out of her current cage onto it, and just sits staring out the window when I hang it back up.

I'm thinking about going with either a ficus or hibiscus for the bottom portion of her cage once it comes in, I've just got to get out shopping again to make up my mind. I just wish my cage would come sooner! I'm so excited!
