Thoughts on C.H. Nosy Faly's

What you say is true. When i see a group of fresh imported females...I CAN NOT decipher one locale to another for the most part. I have to rely on what is labeled on the bag or box. I dont want to go on a rant about cross's because i believe many breeders say they are pure and they are truely not. Not to say that sometimes it is intentional but mistakes on what truely the female may be. i deal with wild caughts a fair bit and unless the whole group comes in one specific locale i question the females. Not going to lie i still question but i am a bit more at ease with myself though. If these are indeed a CH faly line...Of course crossing can happen in the wild but these should be as pure as it gets!

How about some red rain huh? ill post some in photography also. You cant rely on these big name breeders FYI. I personally rely on wild caught for true lineage. :p These were just imported this last week and in my hands this week. What do you think these are?

Believe me I think that Lee's are for sure Faly....but I don't expect them to be inexpensive ;)

As far as the two you posted...I would say either Nosy Be or Nosy Komba....but you would be the pro;)

Taking that as a bit sarcastic :) No pro here, just a mere enthusiast. :)

LOL....You are far more of a pro than me...it's all relative :D:D

BTW if I was getting into Nosy Be's the guys you posted would be what I would be looking for...not that into monochromatic chams ;)

I wouldnt trust ANYONES CH Falys unless all animals are well grown and all are showing apparent Faly colors with nothing else. I dont care if the biggest most reputable breeder is selling CH. If its not proven its not worth the price that Falys are going for. There are a lot of shysters out there especially when you are dealing with items of higher value. Whether it has been the collectors exporters, importers or the people after that, there has been a lot "mix ups" with this locale.

Well said Jared. I would avoid it, or you may find yourself getting ripped off, paying too much, or selling false falys and receiving the backlash.

Ok thanks for everyones input! Im going to try a reputable breeder and If I still have some concerns ill just go for a CB or an Ambilobe

lol being realtively new to chams myself...I wouldn't start with my first cham being the super rare/expensive...maybe start with an Ambilobe and after you figure out the care of one THEN jump on the breeding wagon lol just a different opinion. I have had a lot of reptiles, but these guys are so different. Good luck no matter what you decide...if you love them they become an addiction!! :D
