Thats the cleanup crew! LOL

They eat the dead skin etc from the feeders.

I don't think they are of any nutritional benefit to be honest.

Ah, okay! I've heard stuff before about how they put worms in there to clean up, but I thought they would've looked more like.. worms.

I guess I'll leave the thing in there, then. :)
 
It's the larva of the dermestid beetle. I fed one or two to my chams and they ate them ok. It will do no harm, but it's not any good as a regular item of course.

Before you posted this I was searching around google frantically trying to figure out what kind of worm it was. After searching a lot of stuff like "hairy worm" and "cricket cleanup crew" I got sent to threads like this and my answer was Dermestid Beetles.

The more you know!
