These are the pictures of my chameleon and the cage. Does the chameleon healthy and the cage would be OK? And I put one hamster beside the cage. Dose it affect chameleon??

Oh. Ok. I will put more stick between these two stick, to make it closer to the light. Thank you for your suggest.

Yea you want it to be about 6 inches from the top, but watch your temps and make sure the basking light isn't too hot! But the UV bulb isn't effective from much more then 6 inches to a foot

Ok. Thank you for your suggests. I will put the stick about 1 inch away from the lamp. Thank you.

If that is the cage i am thinking you have it will melt if a light is place on it. And as for the hampster at night there is no prob chams are dead asleep at night, have to worry if you hampster moves around during the day the cham would get stressed then.

Hamster was in the other cage which should it belong. I dont know how to put the lamp correctly.

I would think a lizard would generally be alarmed by the near presence of a mammal of any kind on the forest/wood floor and try to retreat to the highest spot.
A hamster living constantly near your lizard might be stressful in the same way the presence of any perceived predator might be.
Id move the furry away and prefrably out of the lizards sight.

I agree with this... a solution would be to block the cham's view of the animal....

You should remove the substrate from the cage though. There is no need for it.

Also.. what is your lighting? and.. don't worry about placing lights on the reptariums....

This is a fixture with a 50w zoo med spot lamp inside and it is sitting on top of the cage....

Oh. I only have that yellow light one. Do I need to build in one more white light one? I think one yellow light would be enough. Because there is only one 4 months veiled chameleon. Do I need to make one more?

You need a UVB light and a heat lamp.

Where do you live? If you are in the US check out LLL Reptile.

You need a Zoo Med Reptisun 5.0 linear tube. Then you need a fixture for it.

The fixture is 20" but fits a 18" lamp.

If you do not get a UVB light, and are not supplementing the cham you will give the cham MBD, which will in the end kill the cham. MBD is Metabolic Bone Disease. UVB allows the cham to process the calcium in it's diet. If it can't process the calcium the bones turn to rubber and will bend and even break.

Growing up is the most important time in the cham's life to have all the UVB it can get.

Which light would be UVB lamp? Is the white light one? I dont know about UVB.
Thank you for tell me this. This is important I think. Thank you very much.

The UVB is the linear tube light, the other light used for basking is usually a regular light bulb. Look on the forum sponsers web site lllreptile or DIY you need to get the bulb mentioned by summoner12.
It probley would be a good idea to use the search engine and do a little research so you can understand the importance of the bulbs

Do I need to trun the Sun 5.0 UVB bulb on all day long? When need I trun it off? Sometimes if the weather is not cold I will trun off the yellow lamp and put it under the sun light.

The lights should be 12 hours on 12 hours off. I'm not sure of your location but they need the right temps for proper digestion.
You should go under ask for help fill out the form so people can help you with your set up.

Ok. I lived in Vancouver B.C Canada. It's pretty cold now. I Think. By the way. What should I do if I leave Canada and go back to my home country? Does some pet store can take care of my chameleon.
