I came home a few minutes ago and saw that Larry went to the bathroom, this is completely new though:
The poo is on top, the urate is a little below it, and there is a long string/gob of yellow slimy lookin stuff. I am pretty clueless as to what it could be. I will get the help form filled out, I was just curious if anyone has some idea of what that could be and what's causing it.
Chameleon Info:
* Your Chameleon - Male veiled, probably around four months old, has been in my care for two months.
* Handling - I handle him very rarley, probably twice in this last month.
* Feeding - He is getting about 15 small crickets per feeding, twice daily (crickets are slightly smaller than a pencil eraser)
* Supplements - I use repcal with and without d3. WIthout is five times a week, with d3 is twice a month, and the herptivite vitamin is once a month.
* Watering - I spray him well twice daily and use a dripper. He is usually a pretty good drinker, he seems to be drinking slightly less though. He also puts his back towards me so I may just not be seeing it.
* Fecal Description - His poo is consistently normal and his urates are white with little exception. He had a fecal at the very beginning of July and there were no parasites but there were slightly elevated levels of bacteria.
* History - He hasn't had any problems so far.
Cage Info:
* Cage Type - Reptibreeze screen cage, 18x18x36
* Lighting - Reptisun 5.0 tube, 60W heating lamp
* Temperature - Ambient temperature for the cage is between 73-78 during the day. The highest spot he can get to is 90 which I know is a little warm but if he doesn't have the option of being warm he stays a dark brown color. It's also rare for him to spend a lot of time at that particular spot. I use a digital thermometer.
* Humidity - I don't have a hydrometer, I spray him twice daily and keep a dripper going however.
* Plants - He has a large pothos plant that hangs out on.
* Placement - His cage is in my closet with no air vents. I keep an air purifier (not dehumidifier) in there to make sure the air doesn't get stale. The top of the cage is probably about 5 feet off of the ground.
* Location - Tallahassee, Florida
Current Problem - The yellow slime glob.
